Our client asked the Shrock design team to create two extraordinary vacation rentals for her hillside property surrounded by Mohican State Park. She wanted to use prefabricated technology with high end materials to create a contemporary, clean and luxurious design. The Shrock team artfully created modern units that could be transported in 2 pieces. To ensure safe transport, our team included lift points and structural rigidity via a steel skeleton. The design also included solid wood interior surfaces rather than drywall. The result: energy efficient suites that are ready for extreme Ohio temperatures. Every detail was designed for a magical guest experience in mind. As guests enter the property, their anticipation immediately builds as they climb the hillside, take in their amazing private suite, and experience nature in plush comfort.

A non-drywall interior was necessary to allow these prefab units to be safely shipped & installed. 3/4 inch solid wood was used for the walls & ceiling while steel structural members and studs were used for rigidity. Beautiful custom cabinets, unique appliances, and soft touches balance out the modern interior. A luxurious soaking tub and custom tile shower communicate an exclusivity for guests who come for a restful getaway.
